Barnmead Road is a unique Victorian cul-de-sac in Beckenham, Kent. The houses
and the road itself have remained largely unchanged since they were built in
the 1880s and 1890s. In 1984, the road was sold to the residents for £1 and was subsequently declared a conservation area.
This site is primarily of interest to residents, but also provides information
for those considering purchasing properties in Barnmead Road, as living in a
conservation area involves responsibilities as well as benefits. Residents may
hold shares in the street company and many are involved in the street committee
and other activities.
We want to hear from you….
If you live in the road and have an e-mail address, let us know! We can use this
to communicate with you by e-mail if you would like.
E-mail us and let us have your views on the site and how you think it should
develop. Your feedback and ideas will be welcome. You can also contact any of
the street committee members for further information.
